Privacy Policy

This site is a free tool. It is supported by advertising and may use cookies or similar technologies for ad personalization and measurement. We aim to collect as little data as possible.
What we collect
We do not require accounts, and we do not store personal data on any server. The calculator runs entirely in your browser — the numbers you enter are never sent to us.
Advertising
We display ads served by Google AdSense. These networks may use cookies to serve and measure ads, and may collect non-personally-identifiable usage data. Google's use of advertising cookies is described in Google's Privacy & Terms.
Ad and analytics consent is managed by Google's certified Consent Management Platform (CMP), which is registered with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF). Depending on where you are, you may be shown a privacy message asking how we may use your data. Your choice determines whether you see personalized or non-personalized ads.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate usage — for example, which pages are most visited and which calculator features are used. Analytics runs through Google Consent Mode: in regions where consent is required by law (the EU/EEA, UK and Switzerland under GDPR / ePrivacy, and certain US states) we only collect analytics data after you consent; everywhere else it runs automatically with no prompt.
When analytics is active, we collect:
- Page views and general engagement (via GA4's default measurement).
- Calculator events such as currency changes, budget changes, mode switches, and intelligence filters. These carry no personal data — only values like currency code or a budget amount.
- An anonymized IP address (
anonymize_ipis enabled), so full IPs are not retained.
Cookies & consent
We use Google's certified CMP (registered with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework) to manage consent for advertising and analytics:
- EU/EEA, UK & Switzerland — a consent message asks whether we may use cookies for personalized ads and analytics. Your choice is stored by the CMP.
- US states with privacy laws — the CMP respects your opt-out choices, including Global Privacy Control (GPC).
- Everywhere else — consent isn't required by law for this kind of advertising and analytics, so they run automatically and no prompt is shown.
You can change your mind at any time by opening the privacy message via thePrivacy options link in the footer, through your browser's site-data controls, or by clearing your cookies for this site.
Your choices
You can opt out of personalized advertising through the CMP privacy message, through your ad settings (for example, Google Ads Settings), or through your browser's cookie controls. In US states that recognize Global Privacy Control, we honor your opt-out preference signal.
